In a popular music course for adults, pedagogical mediation is crucial. This mediation involves two planes: internal and external, where language combined with sounds, serves as a fundamental resource. Consequently, it becomes a means of self-regulation and a form of student response. The pedagogical application of mediators throughout the learning process is essential for adapting to different situations and cultural values. Pedagogical mediation focuses on how teachers can act as facilitators in the educational process. It is not just about imparting content but also about motivating, guiding, and adjusting teaching according to individual student needs. This approach is particularly relevant in the course on Philosophy of Popular Music, where critical and reflective thinking about the interaction between music, culture, and society is promoted. The integration of technological tools and traditional methods in pedagogical mediation facilitates more dynamic and meaningful teaching. Teachers, in their role as mediators, must create an environment that fosters the development of critical and analytical skills, allowing students to connect theory with practice meaningfully.
