Certamen literario Brunca 2020

Abstract

Fue en 1982 cuando la Universidad Nacional organizó el primer certamen de poesía en la región, con lo que se formalizó este evento, como el resultado del joven movimiento literario local. Luego se incorporó el género cuento para enriquecer la participación. En los últimos años se hizo un cambio importante para incentivar la creación literaria en la población joven. En el presente año se divide en dos categorías, tanto para poesía como para cuento, de modo que se otorga un premio a lo mejor en la región y otro premio a nivel nacional. En el 2020 se cuenta como ganador del primer lugar de poesía regional al poemario “Memoria del hígado”, del poeta Leonardo Issac Porras Cabrera. Mención honorifica al poemario “Alicia internada en el país de las jeringas” de la poetisa Joselyn López Rojas. En la categoría de poesía nacional, el primer lugar al poemario “Álbum” del poeta Bryan Sánchez Rivera; primera mención honorifica al poemario “Los incómodos azules” del poeta Gabriel Ulloa Herrera; segunda mención honorifica al poemario “Escalones” de la poetisa Alejandra Valverde Alfaro. En la categoría de cuento regional se premia en primer lugar al escritor Cristhofer Valdeir Marín Zúñiga con la obra titulada “Lo singular, lo extraño y lo tenebroso: relatos de terror”; primera mención honorifica al escritor Jostin Andrey Mena Fernández por la obra “Cuentos diversos”; segunda mención honorifica al escritor William Ronaldo Hernández Díaz con la obra “Vida, rodillas y muerte”. En la categoría de cuento nacional se otorga el primer lugar al escritor Gabriel Ulloa Herrera por la obra “Selección de narrativa graffiliana de finales de la segunda década”; se entrega una primera mención honorifica al escritor Cristopher Reyes Loaiciga por la obra “Recuerdo perenne en el mar”; segunda mención honorifica a la escritora Alexa Ajoy Jiménez por la obra “Cuentos de pájaros y almas verdes”.

It was in 1982 that the National University organized the region’s first poetry contest, thereby formalizing this event as an outcome of the emerging local literary movement. The short story genre was later added to encourage broader participation. In recent years, a significant change was made to encourage literary creation among young people. This year, the competition is divided into two categories—one for poetry and one for short stories—so that a prize is awarded for the best work in the region and another at the national level.
