Analysis of the Management of Public Secondary Education in Costa Rica: A Case Study of the Ministry of Public Education's Experimental Bilingual Schools in the Cantons of Grecia and Naranjo, 2017–2022. Education in Costa Rica has historically been a pillar of social, cultural, and economic development. In this context, the Experimental Bilingual High Schools (LEB) represent an innovative educational model that seeks to expand student opportunities through a comprehensive and differentiated pedagogical approach. This research aims to analyze the academic and administrative management processes of the LEBs located in the cantons of Grecia and Naranjo, with the objective of identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the implemented educational model, as well as formulating recommendations that contribute to the continuous improvement of these institutions. The study arises from the need to understand how institutional processes are articulated in contexts that face diverse budgetary, political, and social challenges, and how these affect the quality of public secondary education. The active participation of teachers, authorities, and graduates in data collection allowed for the construction of a broad and deep vision of the functioning of these educational centers.
