Several authors even mention that national borders will tend to disappear and allow the free flow of people. Morales (1997: 10) points out, regarding borders as figures of transformation, the following: "The border itself as an immutable political fact, but also as a juridical category, is being transversally overflowed by social dynamics that, born as streams, flow like rivers into a broader territorial reconfiguration.
