Resumen
Plantea la sensibilización de un grupo de mujeres que se encuentran en la pobreza y extrema pobreza, en la zona costera pacífica (Barranca, Puntarenas) y su incidencia en la organización comunitaria vinculada a la tarea de consolidar un proyecto económico, una cooperativa dedicada a la siembra de camarón.
La base conceptual se sustenta en un enfoque epistemológico crítico- latinoamericanista, que no solo parte de la crítica al modelo Capitalista desde su visión económica, sino que se extiende al análisis de las formas de dominación socio-culturales, cuyo origen se sitúa históricamente en el período Colonial español de Nuestra América.
Es un trabajo teórico-práctico desde la pedagogía crítica de Paulo Freire cimentada en la Educación Popular, como una herramienta situada en la comprensión y el cambio del ser humano desde el senti-pensamiento, enfocando valores éticos, políticos y espirituales como ejes fundamentales para la organización comunitaria.

Los resultados de este estudio, desde la perspectiva de género, las mujeres revelan potencialidades; sin embargo, también mostraron debilidades cuyas causas se basan en su nivel educativo y su visión tradicional como mujeres sumidas en una cultura patriarcal.
It raises the awareness of a group of women living in poverty and extreme poverty in the Pacific coastal area (Barranca, Puntarenas) and its impact on community organization linked to the task of consolidating an economic project, a cooperative dedicated to shrimp farming. The conceptual basis is based on a critical-Latin Americanist epistemological approach, which not only starts from the critique of the Capitalist model from its economic vision, but also extends to the analysis of the forms of socio-cultural domination, whose origin is historically located in the Spanish Colonial period in Our America. It is a theoretical-practical work from the critical pedagogy of Paulo Freire based on Popular Education, as a tool located in the understanding and change of the human being from the sentiment-thinking, focusing on ethical, political and spiritual values as fundamental axes for community organization. The praxis is developed through different workshops as techniques to achieve a general objective through the specificity of two axes. As a general objective The results of this study, from the gender perspective, women reveal potentialities; however, they also showed weaknesses whose causes are based on their educational level and their traditional vision as women immersed in a patriarchal culture.
