Agenda Universitaria de Evaluación y Planificación de la Investigación (AUEPI)

Abstract

La Vicerrectoría de Investigación se encuentra realizando esfuerzos sustantivos para orientar la investigación como acción sustantiva de la UNA. La Agenda Universitaria de Evaluación y Planificación de la Investigación (AUEPI) representa una iniciativa universitaria, que pretende incidir en la generación de una nueva cultura de evaluación y planificación de la investigación. Esta agenda es un instrumento político y técnico del Proceso de Evaluación, Planificación y Prospección que forma parte del Subsistema de Investigación Universitaria de la UNA, mediante el cual la Vicerrectoría de Investigación desarrolla capacidades institucionales para evaluar y planificar a nivel de resultados e impactos las líneas de investigación de las distintas unidades académicas, facultades, centros, sedes y sección regional. El proceso de implementación de la AUEPI responde a dos momentos: el Plan Piloto, el cual corresponde a la intervención de tres unidades académicas, iniciando con la Escuela de Medicina Veterinaria, Instituto Regional de Estudios en Sustancias Tóxicas y la Escuela de Química; y el segundo momento corresponde a la puesta en funcionamiento de la AUEPI tomando en consideración otras Unidades Académicas cuyo volumen de investigación amerite una evaluación de las líneas de investigación, o en su defecto que se amerita iniciar la Fase 2 de Planificación de las líneas de Investigación.

The Vice Rector's Office for Research is making substantive efforts to guide research as a substantive action of the UNA. The Agenda Universitaria de Evaluación y Planificación de la Investigación (AUEPI) represents a university initiative that aims to influence the generation of a new culture of research evaluation and planning. This agenda is a political and technical instrument of the Evaluation, Planning and Prospection Process that is part of the University Research Subsystem of the UNA, through which the Vice Rector's Office for Research develops institutional capacities to evaluate and plan at the level of results and impact the lines of research of the different academic units, faculties, centers, headquarters and regional section. The implementation process of the AUEPI responds to two moments: the Pilot Plan, which corresponds to the intervention of three academic units, starting with the School of Veterinary Medicine, the Regional Institute of Studies in Toxic Substances and the School of Chemistry; and the second moment corresponds to the implementation of the AUEPI taking into consideration other Academic Units whose research volume merits an evaluation of the lines of research, or in its absence that merits initiating Phase 2 of Planning of the lines of research.
