Las personas migrantes nicaragüenses y la colonialidad del estar : exclusión, solidaridad y resistencia desde Centroamérica

Resumen
Este artículo aborda la cuestión de la colonialidad del estar, categoría poco explorada para el
contexto centroamericano, pero que atraviesa los cuerpos de las personas migrantes de la
región. Para ello, se traza el objetivo de analizar las contribuciones teóricas y epistemológicas
de las perspectivas de la colonialidad del estar al estudio de las migraciones centroamericanas
para la identificación de rasgos de exclusión y resistencia/ solidaridad, en territorialidades y
espacios de vida de personas migrantes que habitan en comunidades costarricenses. De manera
que se trata el caso específico de aquellas personas nicaragüenses jóvenes en Costa Rica.
Metodológicamente se recurre a la investigación cualitativa mediante técnicas etnográficas
como lo son la cartografía participativa y la entrevista como conversación, aplicadas a un grupo
de personas jóvenes pertenecientes al Programa Socioeducativo Tierra Fértil con sede en la
comunidad de La Milpa, en Heredia, Costa Rica. Además, se recurre a la revisión documental
para la construcción y adaptación de conceptos y categorías como la frontera, la relación entre
necesidades y colonialidad del estar al entorno particular centroamericano. Tras el proceso se
identifica la existencia de múltiples fronteras que surgen de esta colonialidad del estar y que se
presentan en la cotidianidad vivenciada por estas personas migrantes, en la cual se evidencian
prácticas de exclusión, resistencia y solidaridad.
This article addresses the issue of the coloniality of being, a category little explored in the Central American context, but which crosses the bodies of migrants in the region. The objective is to analyze the theoretical and epistemological contributions of the perspectives of the coloniality of being to the study of Central American migrations in order to identify features of exclusion and resistance/solidarity in the territorialities and living spaces of migrants living in Costa Rican communities.
