Resumen
Resumen. La acreditación es un mecanismos de reconocimiento público, el cual está supeditado a normativas de autoevaluación y evaluación externa, que buscan garantizar un servicio educativo de calidad mediante la ejecución de un compromiso de mejora permanente (SINAES, 2009). Dicho mecanismo comprende una acción conjunta entre la Universidad y SINAES, a la que se adscribió la Escuela de Ciencias Biológicas en procura del aseguramiento de la calidad de la carrera de Enseñanza de las Ciencias, mediante la acreditación de la misma. Como herramienta de seguimiento a estos procesos, se han implementado Compromisos de mejoras (CM), los cuales son un medio donde se agrupan las debilidades encontradas en la autoevaluación para superarlas y enriquecer la carrera.
Abstract. Accreditation is a mechanism of public recognition, which is subject to self-evaluation and external evaluation regulations, which seek to ensure a quality educational service through the implementation of a commitment to continuous improvement (SINAES, 2009). This mechanism comprises a joint action between the University and SINAES, to which the School of Biological Sciences is attached in order to ensure the quality assurance of the Science Education career through its accreditation. As a follow-up tool to these processes, Improvement Commitments (CM) have been implemented, which are a means where the weaknesses found in the self-evaluation are grouped in order to overcome them and enrich the career.
