Mapas de lugares turísticos de Pérez Zeledón

Abstract

La riqueza natural, cultural e histórica de un lugar, sus paisajes, montañas y atractivos turísticos, no deben pasar desapercibidos, ni olvidados en el tiempo. Por el contrario, deben ser resaltados como el esfuerzo de la gente por preservar la naturaleza, la belleza, el quehacer del generaleño y su valor histórico. El turismo es una herramienta de cambio, que fortalece las capacidades de las personas, maximiza y refuerza los vestigios culturales y dar valor a aquello que parece no tenerlo. Los Mapas de Lugares Turísticos de Pérez Zeledón es un acercamiento y una nueva oportunidad de los emprendedores y empresarios turísticos del cantón, de comercializar su producto, y de visibilizarse al país y al mundo. Pérez Zeledón no ha sido aún reconocido como un destino turístico, pero trabaja para lograrlo a través de campañas como Vení a Pérez. Esta campaña se realiza con esfuerzos articulados entre el gobierno local, la academia, asociaciones de desarrollo integral, e instituciones públicas, que buscan, en un esfuerzo común. Su objetivo es colocar a Pérez Zeledón dentro de las posibilidades reales de turistas nacionales e internacionales como una opción competitiva, accesible y preparada. Una de sus acciones en común es la confección de este documento que incluye mapas turísticos. Estos mapas son solamente un pequeño eslabón de la gran cadena de esfuerzos para categorizar, segmentar y promover actividades turísticas en el cantón

The natural, cultural and historical wealth of a place, its landscapes, mountains and tourist attractions, should not go unnoticed or forgotten over time. On the contrary, they should be highlighted as the effort of the people to preserve nature, beauty, the work of the generals and their historical value. Tourism is a tool for change, which strengthens people's capacities, maximises and reinforces cultural vestiges and gives value to that which seems to have none. The Maps of Tourist Places of Pérez Zeledón is an approach and a new opportunity for the entrepreneurs and tourist businessmen of the canton, to market their product, and to make themselves visible to the country and the world. Pérez Zeledón has not yet been recognised as a tourist destination, but is working to achieve it through campaigns such as Vení a Pérez. This campaign is carried out with articulated efforts between the local government, academia, associations of integral development, and public institutions, which seek, in a common effort. Its objective is to place Pérez Zeledón within the real possibilities of national and international tourists as a competitive, accessible and prepared option. One of their common actions is the creation of this document which includes tourist maps. These maps are only a small link in the great chain of efforts to categorise, segment and promote tourism activities in the canton.
