The main objective of this research was to investigate the influence of certain elements of occupational hygiene on worker motivation and performance. It is based on a qualitative approach and ethnographic methodology. Based on the content of the bibliographic references, it was determined that human beings spend around 70% of their time working, which highlights the importance of the workplace offering minimum elements that allow for balanced personal, professional, and social development and well-being. For its part, management plays a fundamental role in that it has, among other obligations, to provide the work team with all the elements that are necessary according to their specific functions, which are required because worker motivation will depend largely on them. At the same time, job performance evaluation is another important component for the company or institution, as it helps to identify the achievement of goals in terms of productivity and the revaluation of jobs, but it is also relevant for workers because it makes them feel important and committed to the company. To achieve the research objective, observation and in-depth interviews were used as tools for collecting information. The participants were six employees, the head of the Postal Center, and the head of the Post Office. Among the main findings, it should be noted that physical space, financial remuneration, training, and evaluation are elements that directly influence workers' motivation and performance.
