Sistema Regional de Innovación: Actores e Interacciones en la Región Chorotega

Abstract

El presente documento es un aporte en el entendimiento de la dinámica de innovación en el sistema regional de innovación de la región Chorotega de Costa Rica. Por una parte es un esfuerzo teórico conceptual de comprender las dinámicas de innovación en el nivel regional, pero a la vez permite ser la base para la identificación de espacios de mejora en las áreas geográficas alejadas del valle central y que tienen un potencial no solo para desconcentrar la esfera productiva en términos geográficos, sino también crear oportunidades productivas para las personas de todo el país.This document is a contribution to the understanding of the dynamics of innovation in the regional innovation system of the Chorotega region of Costa Rica. On the one hand, it is a theoretical and conceptual effort to understand the dynamics of innovation at the regional level, but at the same time it provides the basis for identifying areas for improvement in geographic areas far from the central valley that have the potential not only to deconcentrate the productive sphere in geographic terms, but also to create productive opportunities for people throughout the country.
