Resumen
En esta investigación, inicialmente se procede a indicar la población de estudio y desde que perspectiva metodológica fue abordado el tema-problema, sus procedimientos, técnicas y métodos para la recolección de la información.
La población de estudio son mujeres entre los 30 a 48años, que se aplicaron la fertilización in vitro: a partir de ellas y sus familias. Costa Rica. En el periodo de prohibición de la FIV del año 2001 al 2016.
Se realiza el primer acercamiento con las informantes por medio de Facebook, específicamente 2 grupos llamados “A favor del in vitro” y “Centro fecundar Costa Rica.
Esta investigación es comprensiva, ya que intenta abarcar los procesos dinámicos desde lo social hasta el interior del individuo. Aunado a esto se procuró un enfoque cualitativo, que pudiera proporcionar el acceso a la realidad con el propósito de “reconstruirla”, tal y como la observaban los actores de un sistema social previamente definido. Es decir, se estudiaron las representaciones sociales de feminidad, su relación con la maternidad en el contexto de la fecundación in vitro de mujeres y sus familias.
Por esta razón, es que establece como tema problema: ¿Cuáles son las representaciones sociales de feminidad asociadas a la maternidad en mujeres entre los 30 a 48 años, que se aplicaron la fertilización in vitro: a partir de ellas y sus familias del año 2001 al 2016; Costa Rica?
Es por esto que, se hace uso de conceptos y categorías de la teoría de las representaciones sociales, con el objetivo de interpretar las representaciones sociales de feminidad asociadas a la maternidad en mujeres entre los 30 a 48 años, que se aplicaron la fertilización in vitro, esto a partir de ellas y sus familias.
Esta investigación realiza una exploración documental y de campo en dos momentos. Por lo que inicialmente se desarrolla el acercamiento teórico conceptual al tema-problema a partir de la revisión bibliográfica y documental de estudios previos. Y por último se ejecutaron las técnicas, con el propósito de desarrollar el trabajo de campo, donde se utilizó la observación y la entrevista semi-estructurada.
