Research Topic The present Final Graduation Project consists of a financial feasibility study for the expansion of the Curubanda Body Art Center, located in Liberia, Guanacaste. Research Problematic Due to the increase of people looking for an alternative to traditional gyms, centers focused on offering health and wellness services such as yoga, crossfit, pilates, aerial fabrics, pole dance, aerial dance, seeking to satisfy not only the physical aspects but also to find a deeper connection where mind-body-spirit is involved. The boom of the health and wellness movement has allowed traditional businesses such as gym to include services of this type to satisfy people who are not only interested in the physical aspects; in this way, other centers dedicated to providing these services exclusively, such as the Curubanda Body Art Center, have also emerged. In the district of Liberia, there is currently no similar center where the disciplines offered by the Curubanda Body Art Center are taught, so there is a business opportunity to increase the offer by incorporating new disciplines such as pole dance and aerial dance, which allows providing a differentiated service. General Objective Determine the feasibility of the expansion of the Curubanda Body Art Center, located in Liberia, Guanacaste. Specific Objectives The specific objectives are the realization of feasibility studies; a market, technical, organizational, legal, and financial study, with which the feasibility of the project will be determined. Methodology used The following methodology was used for the achievement of the aforementioned objectives: It was classified as a descriptive, explanatory, correlational, and exploratory type of research, with a mixed approach. To obtain information, primary sources such as governmental institutions, master builders, and hardware stores were used; the following secondary sources were books, newspapers, academic journals, and other research. On the other hand, this research used simple random probability sampling, that is, all the elements of the population have the same probability of being chosen to be part of the sample. The sample data was collected by selecting a sample of 217 people from the district of Liberia. Finally, the information collected in the different studies will be analyzed and interpreted for the preparation of the financial statements as indicators to determine the viability of the project. Conclusions According to the analysis obtained from the studies carried out, it is concluded that the project is viable because: There is a potential market for the canton of Liberia, since 71% of those surveyed are willing to take the classes, so this result indicates the viability of the project. Financing for the expansion does not represent a problem for the viability of the project, since the company is capable of covering the debt. No laws or regulations were found that would prevent the project from being implemented, and the environmental study does not require an environmental assessment; it does not represent a danger to the environment, so the project is legally viable. The information provided by the financial study is that the project does generate sufficient income, year after year, to cover all obligations. Recommendations Based on the results of the investigation, the following recommendations are made to Centro de Arte Corporal Curubanda: It is recommended to take out a risk insurance policy to protect all clients in case of accidents since currently, they assume the responsibility, not the company. The location of the business is far from the center of Liberia; it is recommended that the value of moving the business to a more central location be assessed to attract more people. Carry out activities and advertising to reach a larger number of people, which will allow the company to make itself known about the service it provides and where it is located since a large number of those surveyed did not know about the location.
