Resumen
El mundo de los negocio s es altamente competitivo, las empresas se han visto envueltas en una serie de cambios abruptos impulsados por un mercado cada vez más automatizado dirigido a la virtualización. Adicionalmente,en el 2019 surgió una pandemia en el ámbito mundial que aceleró el modelo de servicio a domicilio en todos los comercios. Los restaurantes no han sido la excepción, se han visto involucrados en un cambio en la cultura del servicio adomicilio. Estos pasaron de tener un modelo de entrega, el cual consistía en tener un motorizado propio para su negocio o ser ellos mismos los que hacen las entregas a asociarse con una plataforma virtual que los conecta con clientes potenciales. Conforme a su crecimiento, los restaurantes han buscado maximizar el rendimiento de su sin versiones y que estas aporten valor para sus clientes. Las plataformas de servicio como UberyGlovohan dado un giro a la industria de comidas, al transformar la logística de entrega de alimentos,pues muchos de los restaurantes del país forman parte de estas. Debido a lo anterior, la presente investigación tiene el fin de determinar el impacto financiero que han generado las plataformas digitales de servicios de reparto en los restaurantes del distrito central del cantón de Heredia. Se pretende identificar el impacto real de la implementación de las plataformas digitales (Uber EatsyGlovo) en los restaurantes del cantón central de Heredia para determinar los efectos que tienen sobre la rentabilidad de los restaurantes. El interés del grupo de trabajo es brindar datos concretos que ayuden a los restaurantes a tomar decisiones a decuadas sobre la conveniencia o no de utilizar las plataformas de servicio de entrega adomicilio, así como cuáles o tras estrategias podrían implementar para que su rentabilidad no se vea afectada.
The business world is highly competitive, companies have been involved in a series of abrupt changes driven by an increasingly automated market leading to virtualization. Additionally, in 2019 a global pandemic emerged that accelerated the home delivery model in all businesses. Restaurants have not been the exception, they have been involved in a change in the culture of home service.
