The pandemic has driven a significant transformation in higher education, highlighting both opportunities and challenges in the field of virtual education. The adoption of virtual teaching methods, such as those used in undergraduate Business Administration and Sociocultural Management for Development programs, has enabled the implementation of adaptive and interdisciplinary learning. In turn, the role of the teacher has been redefined in this new scenario, where learning and knowledge technologies (LKT) are essential to guarantee effective educational experiences. In addition, the impact of ICTs on academic performance has highlighted the need for innovative strategies that adapt to current realities. As we reflect on the future of university education, it becomes clear that international collaboration and creativity in teaching are key to meeting global challenges and ensuring quality education, especially in emerging regions.
