La experiencia de modificación curricular de un plan de estudios en tiempos de pandemia

Abstract

La Maestría en Educación (ME) inicia en el año 1995 y desde entonces ha pasado por procesos de rediseño, siendo el más reciente la modificación curricular. El período de pandemia y post pandemia evidencia la necesidad de realizar ajustes al plan de estudios a partir de las nuevas demandas del público meta y del contexto emergente. Esto genera que la ME optara por la modalidad virtual como forma de entrega de la docencia, reorientando la flexibilidad curricular y la internacionalización del plan de estudios. Esta reestructuración conlleva a la modificación del objeto de estudio y finalidad del conocimiento, el fortalecimiento de competencias docentes, la estrategia pedagógica y metodológica y el perfil profesional de la persona graduada.

The Master of Education (ME) began in 1995, and since then, it has gone through different redesign processes, being the most recent a curricular modification. The pandemic and post-pandemic period evidenced the need to make adjustments to the curriculum based on the new demands of the target audience and the emerging context. This triggered the ME to opt for the virtual modality as a form of teaching delivery, reorienting curricular flexibility and the internationalization of the curriculum. This restructuring led to the modification of the subject of study and the final interest of knowledge, the strengthening of teaching skills, the pedagogical and methodological strategy, and the professional profile of the graduate person.
