The topic of this study is "Detection of the information needs of the teachers of the Sinai and Carmen de Cajon de Perez Zeledon Schools, in order to design a training proposal for the educational attention of students with disabilities". Its general objectives are to analyze the information needs presented by the teachers of the mentioned schools in order to establish the required training processes; and to elaborate a proposal directed to these professionals to train them in aspects of educational attention to students with disabilities. As a result of this research, a training program was proposed to meet the information needs of these professionals, in order to provide better educational attention to special educational needs associated with disabilities. The conceptual framework revolves around key concepts such as the history of special education at the global and national levels, as well as historical paradigms and a human rights perspective that includes the concept and type of disability, addressing the special educational needs derived from it. Likewise, international treaties, law 7600, as well as some international considerations of interest for the topic are presented. This is a descriptive study with 45 participants to whom a questionnaire was applied as a diagnostic instrument, as well as the instruments used for the evaluations of the designed proposal. The main results of the diagnosis, as well as the conclusions revolve around the existence of a lack of training for educators, a need that must be filled; that greater conceptual clarity is required to meet in an inclusive manner the educational needs derived from the condition of disability that some students present; also, it is obtained that teachers are willing to work with students in condition of disability, but consider that they have too many functions, very large groups and also do not know techniques and strategies to carry out their work; among others.
