Resumen
El proyecto de Consultoría Empresarial tiene su origen en el curso Consultoría y Asesoría
Empresarial, el cual es el curso final de la Maestría en Administración de Recursos Humanos
impartida por la Escuela de Administración (EDA) de la Universidad Nacional (UNA).
El objetivo académico del curso de Consultoría y Asesoría Empresarial es el diseño y la
ejecución de un proyecto de consultoría y asesoría empresarial en una empresa o institución
seleccionada por el grupo de estudiantes (equipo consultor). Por lo tanto, surge la necesidad de
seleccionar a una empresa o institución donde llevarlo a cabo.
El equipo consultor seleccionó a la empresa Grupo Guillén Miranda (GGM) como su
organización-cliente, siendo una empresa familiar de la cual se hablará con mayores detalles más
adelante en otro de los apartados de este informe. Sin embargo, se debe señalar que su fundador es
el señor Agustín Guillén Elizondo, quien dejó la compañía en manos de sus hijos para que ellos
tomaran las riendas de la empresa.
De esta manera, con el afán de conocer y mejorar el desempeño del grupo y teniendo como
finalidad el saber si se está llevando a buen puerto la empresa, ésta contrató una asesoría
especializada en empresas familiares con el fin de tener herramientas de gestión y saber si las áreas
de negocio responden a la estructura, a las necesidades y a los objetivos empresariales.
Como parte de los resultados de la asesoría, se obtiene información más precisa y se recomienda
una mejora integral de procesos. No obstante, la consultoría también aconsejó crear un
departamento de recursos humanos, por lo tanto, la empresa se avocó a conseguir una asesoría en
talento humano. En ese sentido, se elaboró una herramienta de evaluación del desempeño, la cual
no brindó el resultado esperado. Por ello, al empaparse del tema de talento humano, el Grupo
Guillén Miranda considera importante mejorar la herramienta de evaluación del desempeño.
De esta forma, ante dicha situación, el grupo consultor se acercó a la organización con la
disposición de ayudar en su necesidad de fortalecer las áreas de talento humano y administrativa,
generando la herramienta de evaluación del desempeño requerida e incluyendo y definiendo
competencias blandas, buscando también definir indicadores de gestión que le ayuden a medir y
controlar la gestión del talento humano y el logro de objetivos.

However, the consultancy also advised creating a human resources department, therefore, the company decided to get advice on human talent. Therefore, by soaking up the topic of human talent, the Group Guillén Miranda considers it important to improve the performance evaluation tool. In this way, faced with this situation, the consulting group approached the organization with the willingness to help in their need to strengthen the areas of human and administrative talent, generating the required performance evaluation tool and including and defining soft skills, also seeking to define management indicators that help you measure and control the management of human talent and the achievement of objectives.
