In this topic he mentions that humanism is lawfully connected with education in Latin American peoples. The sense of usefulness becomes a matter of education understood from the forums of universal culture. We must forge humanist criteria in the wide melting pot of mediated cultures and aimed at creating new men, critical and willing to work incessantly to achieve learning in the students of our time. Forging this task is carried out by José Martí from the fields of vast knowledge of what is our America marked by foreign policies, cultures imposed by commercial interests and ideologies that we have suffered for two centuries. The identity, the otherness, the significant propulsion of the search for democratic freedom, the proposals of a utopia in countries lacking true history. In front of the autochthonous culture, the culture transported from other cultural spheres is erected, harmful in the sense of exploitation in charge of interests foreign to the identity of our peoples. Marti's utopia revitalizes that sense of our culture. The current humanism from this perspective and critical with the urgent globalization located in our territories. In another aspect, it is interesting to highlight not only the figure of Marti in his merits for creating an America unified by ideals of freedom, but also Brenes Mesén, deeply investigated in the educational criteria necessary for our homeland, from here arise countless questions about the work of education in our Costa Rica. It is worth reflecting on the possibilities of the direction to be taken by humanism in the formation of students, it is worth reflecting on the ethical criteria of educational work in our institutional environments. It is never too late to learn from Martí, nor too early to receive lessons from our Brenes Mesén, both patriarchs built utopias in Latin American soil.
