Propuesta de un servicio de información interactivo sobre el tema de convivencia sana para estudiantes de tercer ciclo de la educación general básica de la BiblioCRA Edwin Muñoz del Liceo Monseñor Rubén Odio Herrera

Resumen
El presente proyecto de investigación propone una alternativa desde el Centro de Recursos para el Aprendizaje, BiblioCRA Edwin Muñoz, del Liceo Monseñor Rubén Odio Herrera, en el cantón de Desamparados, institución que no posee registro de servicios de información o actividades que tengan como propósito incentivar una sana convivencia entre el estudiantado. En atención a esta carencia de acciones por parte de la biblioteca, se considera relevante fomentar entre la comunidad estudiantil un refugio de convivencia saludable, se promueva la participación sin discriminación y se generen vías de discusión continua ante la problemática de su contexto.
En este sentido, la investigación tiene como objetivo diagnosticar la situación de la BiblioCRA Edwin Muñoz, las necesidades de información de sus estudiantes meta de Tercer Ciclo de la Educación General Básica y las acciones implementadas sobre la temática de convivencia sana, así como los recursos con los que dispone la unidad de información, que pondrá como segundo énfasis el diseño de un servicio de información interactivo relacionado con la temática de convivencia sana, dirigido al estudiantado.
En el estudio se utilizó el enfoque mixto, con una tipología explicativa secuencial y proyectiva. Para llevar a cabo un diagnóstico, se recurrió a dos tipos de fuentes de información personales: estudiantes de Tercer Ciclo de la Educación General Básica del Liceo Monseñor Rubén Odio Herrera y personal docente y administrativo; además, el análisis se realizó mediante la consulta de fuentes documentales como los lineamientos sobre servicios en biblioteca escolar de la IFLA y UNESCO.
Con los principales resultados obtenidos mediante encuesta y técnica grupal con el estudiantado y encuestas con el personal docente y administrativo, se identificaron variables como necesidades de información, acciones implementadas por el Liceo sobre convivencia y los recursos de la biblioteca. Dicho diagnóstico permitió el desarrollo de la propuesta de un servicio interactivo enfocado en la temática de la sana convivencia, la cual contempla las necesidades e intereses de su comunidad.

In response to this lack of action on the part of the library, it is considered important to promote a refuge for healthy coexistence among the student community, encourage participation without discrimination, and create avenues for ongoing discussion of the problems in their context. In this sense, the research aims to diagnose the situation of the Edwin Muñoz Library, the information needs of its target students in the Third Cycle of Basic General Education, and the actions implemented on the theme of healthy coexistence, as well as the resources available to the information unit, which will place a second emphasis on the design of an interactive information service related to the theme of healthy coexistence, aimed at students. The study used a mixed approach, with a sequential and projective explanatory typology. To carry out a diagnosis, two types of personal information sources were used: students in the third cycle of general basic education at the Liceo Monseñor Rubén Odio Herrera and teaching and administrative staff. In addition, the analysis was carried out by consulting documentary sources such as the IFLA and UNESCO guidelines on school library services. The main results obtained through surveys and group techniques with students and surveys with teaching and administrative staff identified variables such as information needs, actions implemented by the school on coexistence, and library resources. This diagnosis allowed for the development of a proposal for an interactive service focused on the theme of healthy coexistence, which takes into account the needs and interests of its community.
