Resumen
En la actualidad, el mercado laboral requiere profesionales que cuenten tanto con conocimientos técnicos especializados como con competencias blandas. Este ensayo aborda el análisis del desarrollo de competencias blandas a través de la mediación pedagógica en el Curso de Gestión de Talento Humano de la Licenciatura en Administración de la Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica. Se destaca la importancia de responder de manera activa y oportuna a los nuevos desafíos en la educación universitaria, considerando la integralidad pedagógica para satisfacer los requerimientos y necesidades de los actores involucrados. Se analizan términos como: competencia blanda, empleabilidad, mediación pedagógica, rol del docente y perfil del profesional egresado universitario. Durante el proceso, se identifican acciones para desarrollar competencias blandas en los estudiantes, con lo cual fomentar así una alta empleabilidad en las personas estudiantes al finalizar la carrera profesional.
Nowadays, the labor market requires professionals who have the specialized technical knowledge of academic training and the development of soft skills. This essay addresses the development of soft competencies in the Human Talent Management Course in the Bachelor's Degree in Administration at the National University of Costa Rica. The importance of responding actively and in a timely manner to new challenges in university education is highlighted, considering pedagogical comprehensiveness as a starting point to contemplate the requirements and needs of the actors involved. Aspects of terms such as soft competence, employability, pedagogical mediation, teacher role, and the profile of the university graduate professional are analyzed. During the process, actions are identified to develop soft skills in students, thus promoting high employability.
