Resumen
A través de un proceso de investigación cualitativa aplicada a educación, se dio seguimiento a una actividad de experimentación didáctica que procura un mejoramiento significativo en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje de Cívica mediante la potenciación de habilidades de pensamiento y el aprendizaje colaborativo. La experiencia se desarrolló con estudiantes de X año del Colegio Montebello para el estudio del tema “legislación laboral” valiéndose del uso de herramientas informáticas. Los objetivos del estudio se alcanzaron mediante la meditación previa de un planteamiento teórico y metodológico para la investigación, la realización de un diagnóstico de la situación y a partir de esos resultados la formulación de una estrategia para superar los problemas detectados aprovechando las habilidades y oportunidades que tienen los estudiante en el acceso y uso las facilidades que ofrecen las herramientas informáticas aplicadas a la enseñanza. Con ese conocimiento se confeccionó y puso en práctica una estrategia de enseñanza y aprendizaje utilizando los principios teóricos expuestos por Vigotsky sobre el aprendizaje socio cultural y las demandas de los programas oficiales vigentes en Cívica, en especial a partir de la ejecución de proyectos de investigación promovidos y asesorados por los docentes pero ejecutados por los aprendices.
Through a process of qualitative research applied to education, a didactic experimentation activity was followed up to seek a significant improvement in the teaching and learning process of Civics through the enhancement of thinking skills and collaborative learning. The experience was developed with 10th grade students of the Montebello School for the study of the topic “labor legislation” using computer tools. The objectives of the study were achieved through the previous meditation of a theoretical and methodological approach for the research, the realization of a diagnosis of the situation and from these results the formulation of a strategy to overcome the problems detected, taking advantage of the skills and opportunities that the students have in the access and use of the facilities offered by the computer tools applied to teaching. With this knowledge, a teaching and learning strategy was developed and put into practice using the theoretical principles exposed by Vigotsky on socio-cultural learning and the demands of the official programs in force in Civics, especially from the execution of research projects promoted and advised by the teachers but carried out by the apprentices.
