The project is developed under the interpretive paradigm with a qualitative approach, with a practical theoretical approach from action research. Correspondingly, the techniques were used: focus group, semi-structured interview and in-depth interview. The participants were members of the community, representatives of the Development Association and community leaders. Based on the analysis of the information collected and the contribution of the participants, the community training proposal was designed and executed. This involved taking into account findings from the diagnosis, as well as the available resources and potential of the community. Among the lessons learned is that the diagnostic process is efficient for identifying the interests and training needs of the members of a community, this guarantees that the design of the proposal is relevant and contributes to the population to which it is directed. Among the most relevant conclusions, it stands out that designing and executing a community training proposal based on action research approaches allows the validation of the proposal based on the group reflection of the community members themselves. It is also concluded that the linking of entities and community professionals was a determining factor in achieving the project's objectives; The support provided by them strengthened the development of activities and became a stimulus for people to integrate.
