The objective of the Seminar Report is to know the influence of the Program of Integral Recovery of children developed in PROMECUM Schools in the improvement of personal, academic and social factors of children of the second cycle of the PROMECUM Tierra Prometida School who participated in the program during the 2007 school year. The theoretical foundation is based on providing knowledge of the social, academic and personal development of boys and girls, taking into account different indicators such as education, school dropout, marginality, poverty, family, among others, which give a clear parameter of the reality that each individual lives in today's society and in urban places of priority attention. The research responds to a descriptive study since it is based on the collection, tabulation, analysis and interpretation of data, which allows us to know the influence of PRIN in benefit of the population under study (however, in order to deepen the work, some qualitative aspects were used). Data collection was obtained through seven instruments; the first is a questionnaire addressed to four teachers who teach PRIN, the second was an observation guide regarding the teacher-student relationship, the third, an observation guide to the classroom where PRIN is taught, the fourth, an observation guide addressed to the students who receive the program, the fifth is a questionnaire addressed to parents about the relationship between children and PRIN, the sixth, an interview addressed to the students who receive PRIN and the seventh, a questionnaire addressed to the Director of the Institution. The data analysis was carried out by means of tables and graphs. Among the most important conclusions we can mention that PRIN teachers have focused the Program on the academic area, especially on improving academic performance, however, indirectly, by improving this point, students have strengthened many aspects on a personal level, such as self-esteem, motivation, personality, positive attitude towards study, among others. A recommendation is that teachers, parents, students and the Director of the Institution work together in order to actively participate in the various activities proposed by PRIN teachers.
