Apollo’s song de Osamu Tezuka : uso de costarriqueñismos en la adaptación al español de una historieta japonesa en inglés

Abstract

Este proyecto de graduación para aspirar al título de Magíster en Traducción Inglés-Español estudia la adaptación de un segmento de Apollo's Song1 , de Osamu Tezuka, historieta de origen japonés (previamente traducida al inglés) hacia la variante del español de Costa Rica por medio del uso de costarriqueñismos tomando como base teórica la manipulación de la literatura mediante la teoría de los polisistemas y por otro lado la teoría del escopo. Su propósito esencial consiste en ofrecer el resultado de una traducción que sea más apropiada para un lector costarricense, especialmente porque estas características son poco comunes en el mundo editorial actual, debido a que por razones culturales y económicas, la mayoría de obras de este género son traducidas al español de México, Argentina o España, lo que llega a crear en cierta medida extrañeza y lejanía para la audiencia de este país.
