The degree of accessibility of the infrastructure (accessible, adapted accessible, and inaccessible) was evaluated in the main tourist hotels in the Brunca Region. Likewise, the level of knowledge that the owners or managers of the selected hotels have about Law 7600 was determined, specifically in relation to access to physical space, accessibility in the establishments, and accessibility of the complementary services they offer. In addition, the participation of people with disabilities, both nationals and foreigners, in accessible tourism in the region was measured. The research was descriptive in nature. The sample consisted of Monic Chabot and 22 managers, owners, or managers of the establishments studied, who were interviewed. An observation guide was also used to assess the rooms. The most relevant results indicate that the Brunca Region does not have hotel infrastructure that provides adequate conditions for the movement of people with disabilities or older adults, both inside and outside buildings. It was also determined that administrators have a low level of knowledge regarding Law 7600.
