Resumen
El presente artículo tiene como objetivo socializar la visión,
perspectivas y estrategias que se desarrollaron en
el marco de la gestión académica-administrativa de la de Costa Rica en el periodo 2008-2019, en la generación
de acciones afirmativas tendientes a brindar igualdad de
oportunidades a personas indígenas en la educación superior.
El acceso, permanencia y éxito estudiantil para la
profesionalización de estudiantes indígenas en docencia
primaria, implica que como unidad académica se promuevan
cambios en el quehacer universitario institucional,
en la flexibilización y pertinencia de los procesos de
admisión para hacer vida el principio de “ser universidad
necesaria” lema que caracteriza y proyecta el alma mater
de la universidad.
This article aims to socialize the vision, perspectives, and strategies which were developed during the academic and administrative management of the School of Rural Education at Universidad Nacional, Costa Rica during the years 2008-2019. For this purpose, varied actions were carried out to offer equal opportunities to indigenous people in regards to their higher education. Access, permanence, and academic success were key to help and support these students to become professionals in elementary teaching, a process that implied the promotion of changes in the pedagogical mediation and flexibility and pertinence in terms of the admission process; this had the main purpose of being “the necessary university”, a motto that characterizes and projects the alma mater of this university.
