Resumen
El tema de investigación es: Viabilidad económica financiera para la producción y
comercialización de hortalizas de la Asociación de Productores Agropecuarios en Río
Naranjo de Bagaces.
La producción de hortalizas ha predominado en Costa Rica, con el uso de cierta cantidad
de agroquímicos, plaguicidas, pesticidas, fertilizantes, mano de obra intensiva, uso de
maquinaria agrícola debido al tipo de suelo existente en la zona por cuestiones de tipo de
clima, zona rural o urbana, entre otros. Se ha investigado mediante instituciones públicas,
como el Instituto de Desarrollo Rural y el Ministerio de Agricultura y Ganadería, impulsan
el desarrollo de la horticultura en Guanacaste puesto que la mayor cantidad de frutas y
verduras provienen de la Meseta Central, es por ello que del 100% de afiliados, un 73,33%
de los miembros de la Asociación, siembran en tierras alquiladas (27%), prestadas (47%) y
propias (26%). La situación presente, lleva a que los miembros de la Asociación decidan
optar por la compra de un terreno que tenga las condiciones adecuadas, para la siembra de
hortalizas de calidad para la producción y comercialización en la zona de Guanacaste, con el
fin de mejorar la situación económica de sus miembros y del distrito de Río Naranjo.
El objetivo principal de este proyecto es. Determinar la viabilidad económica financiera
para la producción y comercialización de hortalizas de la Asociación de Productores
Agropecuarios en Río Naranjo de Bagaces. Además, los objetivos específicos son realizar un
estudio de mercado, técnico, organizativo, legal, ambiental y financiero, esto debido a que es
un requisito que solicita el Instituto de Desarrollo Rural (INDER) para otorgarles el terreno
para el proyecto de la producción y comercialización de hortalizas.
The research topic is: Viability of the project for the production and commercialization of vegetables of the Association of Agricultural Producers in Río Naranjo de Bagaces. The production of vegetables has predominated in Costa Rica, with the use of a certain number of agrochemicals, pesticides, fertilizers, intensive labor, use of agricultural machinery due to the type of soil existing in the area for reasons of type of climate, rural or urban area, among others. It has been investigated through public institutions, such as the Rural Development Institute and the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock promote the development of horticulture in Guanacaste since the largest number of fruits and vegetables come from the Central Plateau, that is why of the 100 % of affiliates, 73.33% of the members of the Association, sow on rented (27%), borrowed (47%) and own (26%) land. The present situation leads the members of the Association to decide to opt for the purchase of land that has the appropriate conditions, for the sowing of quality vegetables for production and marketing in the Guanacaste area, in order to improve the economic situation of its members and the district of Río Naranjo. The main objective of this project is to determine the financial economic viability for the production and commercialization of vegetables of the Association of Agricultural Producers in Río Naranjo de Bagaces. In addition, the specific objectives are to carry out a technical, organizational, legal, environmental and financial market study, this, because it is a requirement requested by the Rural Development Institute (INDER) in order to grant them the land for the project of the production and marketing of vegetables.
