Resumen
El artículo presenta algunas reflexiones sobre la incorporación al Sistema Educativo Costarricense del Programa de informática Educativa en Secundaria (PRIES). Se procura ofrecer una visión general del mismo; tomando como base sus fuentes filosóficas y enfoques educativos que lo sustentan, así como incentivar a las instituciones formadoras de docentes a tomar en cuenta la tecnología para incorporarla en la práctica pedagógica.
The article presents some reflections on the incorporation into the Costa Rican Education System of the Secondary Educational Informatics Program (PRIES). Efforts are made to provide an overview of it; based on its philosophical sources and educational approaches that underpin it, as well as incentivizing teacher training institutions to take technology into account to incorporate it into pedagogical practice.
