Criterios teológicos de la Conferencia Episcopal Costarricense

Abstract

El presente trabajo constituye un intento de realizar un dibujo de los criterios teológicos usados por la Conferencia Episcopal Costarricense, durante el periodo comprendido entre 1974-1978 y de presentar algunas pautas de interpretación a los mismos. Entendemos por criterios teológicos al contenido y modo como alguna persona o institución en este caso la Conferencia Episcopal Costarricense explicita sus concepciones teológicas. Tradicionalmente, se ha entendido por teología, la ciencia que tiene por objeto la fe. Ciencia que mediante la luz de le razón y la revelación divina trata de Dios y de las criaturas en relación a él. Ciencia que, durante la Edad Media, adquirió un carácter presentado sobre todo en la Suma Teológica de Santo Tomás de Aquino, y que más tarde principalmente a partir del siglo XVI comienza a dividirse en diversas disciplinas tales Exégesis, Patrística, Liturgia, Derecho, etc., quedando un bloque central de ciencia teológicas, constituido por la doctrina de las costumbres (MORAL) y por la doctrina de la fe (DOGMATICA). La teología se separa de la dogmática en el siglo XVII. La conclusión de esta investigación como producto de todo el análisis realizado, esbozaremos los criterios teológicos de la Conferencia Episcopal, y propondremos algunas pautas de interpretación con la finalidad de que sirvan de aproximación a aquellos que les interesa seguir investigando dentro de nuestra perspectiva de análisis.

The present work constitutes an attempt to make a drawing of the theological criteria used by the Costa Rican Episcopal Conference, during the period between 1974-1978 and to present some interpretation guidelines to them. We understand by theological criteria the content and way in which some person or institution in this case the Costa Rican Episcopal Conference makes explicit its theological conceptions. Traditionally, theology has been understood as the science that has faith as its object. Science that through the light of reason and divine revelation deals with God and the creatures in relation to him. Science that, during the Middle Ages, acquired a character presented above all in the Theological Summa of Saint Thomas Aquinas, and that later mainly from the 16th century began to be divided into various disciplines such as Exegesis, Patristics, Liturgy, Law, etc. ., leaving a central block of theological science, constituted by the doctrine of customs (MORAL) and by the doctrine of faith (DOGMATICA). Theology separates from dogmatics in the seventeenth century. The conclusion of this research as a result of all the analysis carried out, we will outline the theological criteria of the Episcopal Conference, and we will propose some interpretation guidelines in order to serve as an approximation to those who are interested in continuing to investigate within our perspective of analysis.
