Resumen
Este trabajo pretende establecer un plan integral para el manejo agroecológico de plantaciones de Plátano dentro de la reserva indígena de Talamanca y en el distrito de Sixaola, con la implementación de técnicas sustentables de producción, para satisfacer las necesidades de los agricultores con respecto a las exigencias de las nuevas tendencias de producción. Además, definir las estratégicas agroecológicas adecuadas para un manejo integral de las plantaciones, realizar un análisis comparativo de las parcelas manejadas convencionalmente con las manejadas agroecológicamente, esto en factores como presencia del hongo Mycosphaerella fijiensis y resencia de nematodos como Radophulus similis, Meloidogyne sp., Helicotylenchus sp. y Pratylenchus sp.; y finalmente desarrollar talleres participativos con los productores(as) de la zona, con el fin de instruirlos en el manejo agroecológico del sistema de producción. Como muestra se seleccionaron las parcelas del señor Wilfred Brown, ubicada en la comunidad de Suretka; la parcela de doña Damaris Canales ubicada en la comunidad de Shiroles, estas dos dentro de la reserva indígena de Talamanca. Y la tercera parcela de don Luis Ponce ubicada en Paraíso dentro del distrito de Sixaola, cantón de Talamanca
This work aims to establish a comprehensive plan for the agroecological management of banana plantations within the Talamanca indigenous reserve and in the Sixaola district, with the implementation of sustainable production techniques, to meet the needs of farmers with respect to the demands of new production trends. In addition, define the appropriate agroecological strategies for an integral management of the plantations, carry out a comparative analysis of the plots managed conventionally with those managed agroecologically, this in factors such as the presence of the fungus Mycosphaerella fijiensis and the presence of nematodes such as Radophulus similis, Meloidogyne sp., Helicotylenchus sp. and Pratylenchus sp .; and finally develop participatory workshops with the producers of the area, in order to instruct them in the agroecological management of the production system. As a sample, the plots of Mr. Wilfred Brown, located in the community of Suretka; the plot of Mrs. Damaris Canales located in the community of Shiroles, these two within the indigenous reserve of Talamanca.
