La información y la investigación en la UNA : ponencia para ser presentada al primer congreso universitario de la UNA

Abstract

La investigación, en cualquier campo o disciplina, necesita del soporte de los que investigaron previamente en el trabajo de su interés. Los investigadores necesitan, para darle un respaldo más autorizado, más científico, a su creación, de lo que otros escribieron, comunicaron o están indagando acerca de determinada hipótesis. Así pues, la información, definida como "un medio de comunicación" sin ser un fin en sí misma, es un medio indispensable para reforzar, orientar y agilizar cualquier proceso de investigación, y en muchos casos hasta para modificarlo a cambiarlo totalmente.

Research, in any field or discipline, requires the support of those who have previously conducted research in the area of ​​interest. Researchers need, to lend more authoritative and scientific backing to their work, the knowledge that others have written, communicated, or are investigating regarding a given hypothesis. Thus, information, defined as "a means of communication" and not an end in itself, is an indispensable tool for reinforcing, guiding, and expediting any research process, and in many cases, even for modifying or completely changing it.
