“El desarrollo del Mercado Accionario en Costa Rica a partir del Plan de Ruta Estratégico recomendado por el Banco Mundial”

Abstract

El presente trabajo final de graduación, consiste investigar el desarrollo del Mercado Accionario en Costa Rica a partir del Plan de Ruta Estratégico. El objetivo central es analizar las perspectivas de crecimiento del mercado accionario costarricense a partir de las recomendaciones del Plan de Ruta Estratégico del Mercado de Valores. Se pretenden determinar la factibilidad de poner en marcha las recomendaciones hechas por los expertos en el Plan de Ruta Estratégico, con respecto al mercado accionario, para generar mayor dinamismo en este. Para lograr lo anteriormente descrito, se recopilo información tanto a nivel primario como secundario y se aplicó la investigación descriptiva y explicativa. Es importante señalar que los datos principales fueron recogidos directamente por los investigadores, a través de entrevistas realizadas a expertos del Mercado de Valores Costarricense. El trabajo consta de seis capítulos en los que se desarrollaron diferentes temas según la importancia que aportan al estudio, este se limitó a la investigación del Mercado Accionario Costarricense. El capítulo primero aborda los antecedentes del mercado accionario, la formulación del problema, la justificación y los objetivos a desarrollar en el estudio. El capitulo dos se desarrolla el marco teórico, donde se detallan conceptos básicos relacionados con el estudio. El capitulo tres contiene el marco metodológico. El análisis de los resultados del estudio se desarrolla en el capítulo cuarto, finalmente el quinto contiene las conclusiones y finalmente el sexto las recomendaciones realizadas por los investigadores.

Current investigation is about Costa Rica Stock Market development upon the Strategic Route Plan (SRP for further reference in this summary). The main objective out this job is to analyze the growing perspectives of the costarican share’s market base on the SRP for the stock market. It is intended to determine the feasibility of putting recommendations made by experts of the SRP in practice in order to be more dynamic. To accomplish what has just been mentioned, several information at both primary and secondary level was applied during the course of the investigation. It is quite important to highlight that main data was gathered directly by the investigators throughout interviews with Stock Marked experts in Costa Rica. This work is made of six chapters in which several topics are developed base on their relevance to main objective. Stated objective is limited to the investigation of the costarican Stock Market. In the first chapter some precedent of the stock market, the form of the problem, the justification and the objectives to be visited in the study can be seen. The secondary chapter is related to the framework where some basic concepts are elaborated. The chapter number three talks about the methodology. The results analysis will be seen in the chapter number four. Finally, the fifth chapter comprehends the conclusions. In the last chapter the recommendations given by the investigators may be found.
