Abstract

El presente documento condensa un proyecto académico desarrollado por el equipo investigador a lo largo de tres años, ante la tarea de investigar desde la psicología, la vivencia de la sexualidad en pacientes cardiacos y sus parejas. El primer capítulo ofrece un primer acercamiento a la cuestión investigada, a partir de un recorrido por el material científico que antecedió esta investigación y que también la nutrió. Seguidamente, se ofrece un apartado de justificación, el cual detalla la pertinencia de este trabajo para la academia y la sociedad. Se concluye el capítulo presentando de forma sintética el problema a investigar y los objetivos que guiaron la labor investigativa. El sostén teórico del objeto de estudio de la investigación es desarrollado a través del segundo capítulo. Se presenta un recorrido general por los planteamientos de la Teoría Familiar Sistémica y el Modelo Sistémico de la Enfermedad y su funcionalidad como referente conceptual para el estudio. De igual manera, el marco teórico ofrece una pormenorización de los componentes clave que derivan de los objetivos, con el fin de tener claridad de su conceptualización en el marco de la investigación. El tercer capítulo se enfoca en la metodología planteada por el equipo para concretizar el proceso investigativo. Aquí se explica su naturaleza cualitativa y hermenéutica, se esquematizan las categorías de análisis derivadas del marco teórico, se detallan los criterios utilizados para seleccionar la población con la que se trabajó y se concluye con la estrategia metodológica utilizada: como se recolectó e interpretó la información. El análisis de los resultados se encuentra ubicado en el cuarto capítulo. En este apartado, el equipo de investigación se da a la tarea de categorizar e interpretar a la luz de los planteamientos teóricos, la información que fue recuperada en el trabajo de campo. Aquí es donde se concentra el valor científico del trabajo, ya que presenta el conocimiento que ha sido producido a través de todo el proceso. El último y quinto capítulo ofrece las conclusiones y recomendaciones que surgen a partir de la labor investigativa concretada. The theoretical basis for the object of study of the research is developed through the second chapter. A general overview of the approaches of Systems Family Theory and the Systems Model of Disease and their functionality as a conceptual reference for the study is presented. Similarly, the theoretical framework offers a detailed description of the key components derived from the objectives, in order to clarify their conceptualization within the framework of the research. The third chapter focuses on the methodology proposed by the team to implement the research process. It explains its qualitative and hermeneutic nature, outlines the categories of analysis derived from the theoretical framework, details the criteria used to select the population with which the research was conducted, and concludes with the methodological strategy used: how the information was collected and interpreted. The analysis of the results is located in the fourth chapter. In this section, the research team undertakes the task of categorizing and interpreting the information recovered during the fieldwork in light of the theoretical approaches. This is where the scientific value of the work is concentrated, as it presents the knowledge produced throughout the entire process. The final, fifth chapter offers the conclusions and recommendations that arise from the research work carried out. Also included at the end of the document are the bibliography used and appendices with valuable reference information about the process.
