Madres por decreto: gestar, parir y criar. Un análisis de roles y discursos presentes en la vida cotidiana de las mujeres en torno a la maternidad, con perspectiva de género en el año 2021

Abstract

La presente investigación, tuvo como objetivo analizar los roles y discursos presentes en la vida cotidiana de las mujeres en torno a la maternidad, con perspectiva de género en el año 2021. Se tomó como punto de partida la entrevista a ocho mujeres en edad y condiciones diferenciadas. A nivel teórico como parte de la sustentación del trabajo investigativo, se tomó en consideración la noción del estudio desde un paradigma interpretativo con perspectiva de género, y teorías sustantivas desde el feminismo y los estudios de género. Además, como aspecto importante en el estudio, se hizo uso de teoría desde el estructuralismo y la constitución del lenguaje. A nivel metodológico como se mencionó anteriormente, se tomaron en cuenta ocho mujeres; cuatro de ellas madres y cuatro no madres, esto para considerar el papel asumido de las mujeres desde diferentes realidades y condiciones. Además, el estudio se realizó desde un enfoque cualitativo por medio de una entrevista en profundidad. A nivel de hallazgos, se logró evidenciar diversas condiciones de las mujeres que, a partir de las prácticas cotidianas se invisibilizan aspectos de carácter sexistas, dominantes y violentos en torno a engendrar y maternar, esto por la legitimación de roles y discursos presentes a nivel socio-cultural. Además, se concluye la existencia de una confusa integración de los aspectos biológicos y sociales, que tienden a naturalizar y estandarizar procesos relacionados con la forma de criar, engendrar y ser mujer, a través de papeles sociales cargados de normas y reglas, también constituidos desde los sistemas de género.

The objective of this research was to analyze the roles and discourses present in the daily lives of women around motherhood, with a gender perspective in the year 2021. The starting point was the interview of eight women of age and conditions differentiated. At a theoretical level, as part of the support of the research work, the notion of the study was taken into consideration from an interpretive paradigm with a gender perspective, and substantive theories from feminism and gender studies. In addition, as an important aspect in the study, theory was used from structuralism and the constitution of language. At the methodological level, as mentioned above, eight women were taken into account; four of them mothers and four non-mothers, this to consider the assumed role of women from different realities and conditions. In addition, the study was carried out from a qualitative approach through an in-depth interview. At the level of findings, it was possible to demonstrate various conditions of women who, from daily practices, make invisible aspects of a sexist, dominant and violent nature around engendering and mothering, this due to the legitimization of roles and discourses present at the socio level -cultural. In addition, the existence of a confusing integration of biological and social aspects is concluded, which tend to naturalize and standardize processes related to the way of raising, engendering and being a woman, through social roles loaded with norms and rules, also constituted from gender systems.
