Pertinencia y adaptación de las bases teóricas y fundamentos metodológicos de formación profesional dual para la mejora de las ofertas académicas de educación superior universitaria en Costa Rica: Caso la Escuela de Secretariado Profesional

Resumen
La Escuela de Secretariado Profesional, en adelante (ESP), desde el año 2000
ha incursionado en el Proyecto de Formación Profesional Dual como modalidad
de enseñanza y aprendizaje, cuyo propósito es propiciar el desarrollo integral
de los miembros de la comunidad universitaria y brindarles una formación
humanística basada en el estudio de la realidad nacional. Implica una experiencia
práctica en la que el estudiante asume responsabilidades de acuerdo con su nivel académico. Ofrece al estudiantado una formación adecuada para
su perfil profesional y garantiza una oferta de capital humano competente para
el sector corporativo.
Este Proyecto nació con el propósito de “Propiciar el desarrollo integral de
los miembros de la comunidad universitaria y brindarles una formación humanística,
basada en el estudio de la realidad nacional a la luz de los temas
y logros de la cultura universal”, como bien lo menciona el Estatuto Orgánico
de la Universidad Nacional.
La formación dual promueve la vinculación de la teoría y la práctica e integra
al estudiante a la empresa para el desarrollo de nuevas competencias profesionales;
procura articular la formación y desarrollo de competencias genéricas
y específicas, de manera eficaz y eficiente, dirigidas a lograr una formación
integral en la persona estudiante, además de experiencia laboral.
En la actualidad, la formación dual no forma parte del currículo académico y
los estudiantes eligen voluntariamente su participación; los profesores tutores
colaboran de manera ad honorem y las empresas reciben un recurso humano
competente y calificado, sin que ello signifique un pago por los servicios que
ofrece la persona estudiante; por tanto, el objetivo del artículo es validar la
pertinencia y adaptación de las bases teóricas y fundamentos metodológicos
de la formación profesional dual para la mejora de las ofertas académicas de
educación superior en Costa Rica.
The School of Professional Secretariat, hereinafter (ESP), since 2000 has ventured into the Dual Professional Training Project as a teaching and learning modality, whose purpose is to promote the comprehensive development of members of the university community and provide them with training humanistic based on the study of national reality. It involves a practical experience in which the student assumes responsibilities in accordance with his or her academic level. It offers students appropriate training for their professional profile and guarantees a supply of competent human capital for the corporate sector. This Project was born with the purpose of “Promoting the comprehensive development of the members of the university community and providing them with humanistic training, based on the study of the national reality in light of the themes and achievements of universal culture”, as well stated. mentions the Organic Statute of the National University. Dual training promotes the linking of theory and practice and integrates the student into the company for the development of new professional skills; seeks to articulate the training and development of generic and specific skills, in an effective and efficient manner, aimed at achieving comprehensive training in the student, in addition to work experience. Currently, dual training is not part of the academic curriculum and students voluntarily choose their participation; The tutors collaborate on an ad honorem basis and the companies receive a competent and qualified human resource, without this meaning payment for the services offered by the student; Therefore, the objective of the article is to validate the relevance and adaptation of the theoretical bases and methodological foundations of dual vocational training for the improvement of higher education academic offers in Costa Rica.
