Within the framework of the Project "Jóvenes Protagonistas del Desarrollo Rural Territorial" in theregion of Central American Integration System (SICA) -spanish acronyms-, PROCASUR Corporation implemented, during 2018 and 2019, the community participation device called Abya Ayala; whose purpose was to develop capacities for social management and rural youth governance through the strengthening of life skills and human development focused on theoretical-practical exercises of sense of community. Thus, the objective of this project was to identify and understand the methodological characteristics, significant practices and innovative initiatives of the Abya Ayala training process, with the participation and involvement of 24 rural youth from Guatemala, Costa Rica, Honduras and El Salvador; in the systematization and critical interpretation of the experiences lived during the participation and facilitation of the training processes. It consolidates, from Community Social Psychology, the field of research and praxis that makes viable the analysis of the structural conditions in rural youth, as well as the intersubjective constructions within the formative processes of community participation; but, at the same time, it makes possible to propose methods for the construction of collective solutions from the youth ruralities. Finally, the design of the community device called "Cartographic Loom", with which this project closes, is deployed as a tool to build formative processes with rural youth, based on the use of community action dynamics aimed at professionals from institutions and organizations outside the community.
