El signo cultural como protagonista de la planificación: implementando etnomatemáticas regionales en la escuela

Resumen
El objetivo de esta comunicación, es mostrar una propuesta desarrollada en Costa Rica para
enriquecer la planificación docente desde la visión sociocultural de las matemáticas,
utilizando como vehículo los signos culturales regionales. Esta propuesta surge como
resultado de las producciones didácticas obtenidas por parte de docentes de primaria que
participaron en un curso de Enculturación Matemática y Etnomatemática, impartido en
varias zonas del país, en el cual dichos docentes fungieron un doble rol, de investigadores de
etnomatemáticas regionales y de docentes reflexivos de su práctica profesional para
enriquecer su planificación didáctica desde la visión sociocultural. El principal hallazgo, es,
por lo tanto, una estructura de planificación didáctica, a partir de las etnomatemáticas de
signos culturales regionales, que los docentes puedan utilizar para el desarrollo de
conocimientos y habilidades matemáticas en la escuela.
The objective of this communication is to show a proposal developed in Costa Rica to enrich teaching planning from the sociocultural vision of mathematics, using regional cultural signs as a vehicle. This proposal arises as result of the didactic productions obtained by primary teachers who participated in a course on Mathematical and Ethnomathematics Enculturation, taught in several areas of the country, in which these teachers played a double role, as researchers of regional ethnomathematics and reflective teachers of their professional practice to enrich your didactic planning from a sociocultural perspective. The main finding is, Therefore, a didactic planning structure, based on the ethnomathematics of regional cultural signs that teachers can use for the development of mathematical knowledge and skills at school.
