Abstract
Se trabajó con 59 ejemplares de Leptodactylus pentadactyus colectados y 87 observados desde junio de 1986 hasta mayo de 1987, en el cantón de Golfito, provincia de Puntarenas, Costa Rica (8° 37' W y 83° 10' N). A los ejemplares colectados se les midió longitud estándar y se sexaron de acuerdo a sus características externas e internas. A las gónadas de machos se les midió longitud total y a las hembras se les caracterizó el estadío de madurez de los ovocitos.
We worked with 59 Leptodactylus pentadactyus collected and 87 observed from June 1986 to May 1987, in the canton of Golfito, Puntarenas province, Costa Rica (8 ° 37 'W and 83 ° 10' N). The collected specimens were measured standard length and were sexed according to their external and internal characteristics. The gonads of males were measured in total length and the stage of maturity of the oocytes was characterized in the females.
