Resumen
La apropiada gestión de los activos intangibles se ha convertido
en un reto, en especial para las pequeñas y medianas empresas.
El conocimiento sobre las herramientas adecuadas para la protección de su propiedad industrial e intelectual es indispensable
dado su grado de vulnerabilidad en esta área.
El proyecto “Capacidades de gestión de la propiedad industrial e
intelectual en los procesos de emprendimiento en las PYMES de
América Central y República Dominicana”, de la Escuela de Administración de la Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica pretende
contribuir a solventar la necesidad de información que existe en
el sector empresarial sobre el registro de marcas y la protección
de activos intangibles. De esta manera, se busca realizar un aporte
en la creación de capacidades necesarias en los empresarios de
la región y República Dominicana para que puedan acercarse a
la cultura de protección de sus innovaciones y emprendimientos.
Este esfuerzo se desarrolló con recursos del Fondo Institucional
para el Desarrollo Académico (FIDA) y con la participación de
varias Unidades Académicas, como la Escuela de Relaciones Internacionales, la Escuela de Secretariado Profesional y la Escuela
de Administración como Unidad coordinadora.
The proper management of intangible assets has become challenging, especially for small and medium-sized businesses. Knowledge of the appropriate tools for the protection of your industrial and intellectual property is essential given your degree of vulnerability in this area. The project “Capabilities for the management of industrial property and intellectual in entrepreneurship processes in SMEs of Central America and the Dominican Republic ”, from the School of Administration of the National University of Costa Rica intends contribute to solving the need for information that exists in the business sector on trademark registration and protection intangible assets. In this way, it seeks to make a contribution in the creation of necessary capacities in entrepreneurs of the region and the Dominican Republic so that they can approach the culture of protection of its innovations and undertakings. This effort was developed with resources from the Institutional Fund for Academic Development (IFAD) and with the participation of several Academic Units, such as the School of International Relations, the School of Professional Secretaries and the School of Administration as coordinating Unit.
