Resumen
En este documento muestra la problemática actual que enfrentan el Hospital de Equinos y Especies Mayores así como del Hospital de Especies Menores y Silvestres de la Universidad Nacional que se resume en la falta de un mecanismo para organizar y mantener la información de sus pacientes, es por esta razón que se ha planteado el desarrollo de un sistema informático que permita conservar esta información de una forma centralizada, en donde pueda ser accedida y actualizada por el personal de los Hospitales.
La aplicación que sea implementada debe ser capaz de almacenar la información de cada paciente para que de esta manera sea posible crear un historial, que permita a doctores, estudiantes y demás usuarios del sistema, hacer referencia a cada una de las consultas médicas y así conocer los padecimientos y tratamientos aplicados a los animales.
El sistema debe ser capaz además de mantener un control regulado en cuanto a los aspectos financieros se refiere de modo que el cobro sobre las citas, medicamentos y tratamientos se realice de una forma eficiente y exista un mecanismo de registro sobre posibles fraudes o alteraciones de facturas que puedan llevar a cabo los usuarios así como asegurar un adelanto del pago de las consultas por parte de los clientes y de esta forma garantizar un porcentaje de los ingresos a los Hospitales.
Una vez definidos los requisitos principales se espera que el resultado sea de agrado y de utilidad para los hospitales y eliminar, gracias a éste la constante pérdida de información que es de vital importancia para este tipo de hospitales. Así mismo a través de la aplicación se busca brindar a estas unidades una herramienta para abrirse camino tecnológicamente, para dirigir más ágilmente sus actividades y crecer como unidades de atención a especies animales.

The system must also be able to maintain a regulated control in terms of financial aspects so that the collection of appointments, medications and treatments is carried out efficiently and there is a mechanism for recording possible fraud or invoice alterations. that users can carry out as well as ensuring an advance payment of consultations by clients and thus guaranteeing a percentage of income to Hospitals. Once the main requirements have been defined, it is expected that the result will be pleasant and useful for hospitals and, thanks to this, eliminate the constant loss of information that is of vital importance for this type of hospital. Likewise, through the application, it seeks to provide these units with a tool to make their way technologically, to direct their activities more quickly and grow as care units for animal species.
