Por qué la temática del envejecimiento y la vejez en las Humanidades del Centro de Estudios Generales de la Universidad Nacional?

Abstract

Se presenta aquí cómo desde 1996 el tema del envejecimiento y la vejez se ha venido desarrollando en el quehacer del Centro de Estudios Generales y de cómo el Programa de Atención Integral de la Persona Adulta Mayor (PAIPAM) ha participado en los espacios gubernamentales que desarrollan la temática. Además, se hace mención de cómo con las diferentes acciones se ha cumplido con lo establecido en la normativa de protección y derechos de las personas adultas mayores y con la sensibilización se ha contribuido a la unidad en la diversidad, con un enfoque intergeneracional.It is presented here how since 1996 the theme of aging and old age has been developed in the work of the Center for General Studies and how the Program for Comprehensive Care of the Elderly Person (PAIPAM) has participated in government spaces that develop the theme. In addition, mention is made of how the different actions have complied with what is established in the regulations for the protection and rights of older adults and with awareness, unity in diversity has been contributed, with an intergenerational approach.
