Resumen
La aplicación de adecuaciones curriculares es un hecho de actualidad e importancia dentro del contexto de escuela formal. Son dirigidas a estudiantes con necesidades educativas especiales con el fin de que alcancen un proceso de aprendizaje con calidad y a la vez, permita su promoción y superación escolar. Constituyen estrategias pedagógicas de acatamiento obligatorio y son amparadas jurídicamente por medio de la Ley 7600 sobre Igualdad de Oportunidades para las Personas con Discapacidad en Costa Rica y por el documento denominado "Políticas de Acceso a la Estudiantes con Necesidades Educativas Especiales. Por lo trascendente del tema se presentan los resultados de un estudio que permitió investigar la aplicación de adecuaciones curriculares en la práctica.
The application of curricular adjustments is a fact of current importance in the context of formal school. They are directed to students with special educational needs in order for them to achieve a quality learning process and at the same time, allow their promotion and academic improvement. They constitute pedagogical strategies of obligatory compliance and are legally protected by means of Law 7600 on Equal Opportunities for People with Disabilities in Costa Rica and by the document called "Access Policies for Students with Special Educational Needs. Due to the importance of the subject, the results of a study that allowed the investigation of the application of curricular adjustments in practice are presented.
