Aranceles afectarían crecimiento económico del país

Abstract

En este artículo se habla del anuncio del gobierno de Estados Unidos, el pasado 2 de abril, sobre la imposición de un arancel general del 10% a las importaciones, tendría efectos negativos sobre el crecimiento de la economía en Costa Rica. El Centro Internacional de Política Económica para el Desarrollo Sostenible (CINPE) de la Universidad Nacional (UNA) hizo una revisión hacia la baja de las expectativas de crecimiento para el 2025. Sin aranceles, la producción crecería un 3.6% y con aranceles, el porcentaje llegaría a un 3%.This article discusses the announcement by the US government on April 2, regarding the imposition of a 10% general tariff on imports, which would have negative effects on the growth of the Costa Rican economy. The International Center for Economic Policy for Sustainable Development (CINPE) of the National University (UNA) made a downward revision of growth expectations for 2025. Without tariffs, production would grow by 3.6% and with tariffs, the percentage would reach 3%.
