Explains how in Latin America since the middle of the 20th century, the results of some transformations have been presented that have distanced us from the social dynamics that by consensus we consider virtuous. Thus, society began to show, as a result of these dynamics, an increasingly less equitable distribution of wealth, higher levels of income inequality, multiplication of levels of poverty and indigence in countries that previously showed rates five or ten times minors, increase in social and domestic violence in environments of growing disintegration, increase in people's dependence and the consequences of neglect and disrespect for the planet. Since education is the engine of transformations in the history of humanity, it is worth asking whether the traditional educational paradigm is the one that has stopped responding to the necessary virtuous orientation of the changes.
