Resumen
Este estudio se realizó para dar a un grupo de estudiantes la oportunidad de desarrollar las diferentes etapas de un proyecto de investigación y adicionalmente, poder brindar este producto a la comunidad académica de la Universidad Nacional, como un aporte al conocimiento de algunos factores asociados al rendimiento académico observado en los estudiantes de esta casa de estudios.Es importante resaltar el modelo de "estudiantes ayudando a estudiantes", al aprovechar la oportunidad de contar con un grupo de estudiantes con un fuerte vínculo con los procesos formativos, que laboran en instituciones educativas de diferentes niveles (perfil de los estudiantes de la MATIE) y la disposición del IDESPO para estructurar para estos estudiantes el curso de manera totalmente aplicada a un proceso de investigación educativa, que les permite aplicar sus conocimientos en educación mientras adquieren algunas herramientas del quehacer investigativo.
This study was conducted to give a group of students the opportunity to develop the different stages of a research project and, additionally, to provide this product to the academic community of the National University, as a contribution to the understanding of some factors associated with the academic performance observed in the students of this institution. It is important to highlight the "students helping students" model, taking advantage of the opportunity to have a group of students with a strong connection to educational processes, who work in educational institutions at different levels (the profile of the MATIE students), and the willingness of IDESPO to structure the course for these students in a way that is fully applied to an educational research process, allowing them to apply their knowledge in education while acquiring some tools of research practice.
