Resumen
Esta investigación tuvo como propósito determinar la influencia de los factores de la educación ambiental en los estudiantes de quinto nivel de las escuelas: Cocorí, Pavones y Chimirol, durante el primer período del curso lectivo del 2008. La investigación es de tipo descriptivo, buscando dar una minuciosa descripción de una situación presentada en tres escuelas, siguiendo un paradigma de investigación cuantitativo. El presente informe de seminario contiene un marco teórico construido con la literatura consultada, el mismo enfoca temas relacionados con el problema en estudio, basado en el ámbito escolar, se da a conocer qué es la educación ambiental y la influencia de la misma en la enseñanza de la educación ambiental, así como las estrategias que se pueden aplicar para tener un equilibrio armónico con la naturaleza. En este Informe, se presentan procedimientos metodológicos. La población que participó que en este caso son niños, docentes y padres de familia de quinto nivel de las escuelas: Cocorí, Pavones y Chimirol. Para la recolección de la información se utilizaron tres instrumentos: dirigidos a estudiantes, docentes y padres de familia, estos proporcionaron los datos que sirviendo de base para el análisis e interpretación de los resultados, se presentan en cuadros y gráficos. Las conclusiones se muestran organizadas por variables e indican la influencia favorable o moderada para el proceso de la enseñanza-aprendizaje de la educación ambiental. A partir de las conclusiones se formulan recomendaciones, las cuales se organizan, según a quien van dirigidas. Por último se presentan las referencias bibliográficas y los anexos.
The purpose of this research was to determine the influence of environmental education factors on fifth-grade students at the Cocorí, Pavones, and Chimirol schools during the first term of the 2008 school year. The research is descriptive in nature, seeking to provide a detailed description of a situation presented in three schools, following a quantitative research paradigm. This seminar report contains a theoretical framework constructed from the literature consulted. It focuses on issues related to the problem under study, based on the school environment, and explains what environmental education is and its influence on the teaching of environmental education, as well as the strategies that can be applied to achieve a harmonious balance with nature. This report presents methodological procedures. The population that participated in this case consists of children, teachers, and parents of fifth graders from the schools in Cocorí, Pavones, and Chimirol. Three instruments were used to collect information: targeted at students, teachers, and parents, they provided the data that served as the basis for the analysis and interpretation of the results, which are presented in tables and graphs. The conclusions are organized by variables and indicate the favorable or moderate influence on the teaching-learning process of environmental education. Based on the conclusions, recommendations are formulated and organized according to whom they are addressed. Finally, the bibliographic references and annexes are presented.
