It makes visible the voices, communities, and struggles of organized Latin American sex workers from the rewriting and historical analysis of their intellectual thoughts written in the first publications that emerged from their mobilizations in the Latin American and global environment. From a Latin American position, it is evident that the organized sex workers' movements of Abya Yala have the characteristics of a Latin American social movement and that their struggles and sentiments should be incorporated into the study of these movements. From a decolonial and clitoral feminist re-reading, the mother movement of Latin American sex workers builds a sex-transgressive philosophy of prostitutes from which the colonial and patriarchal repression of sexuality is resisted, which must be integrated into the decolonial feminist epistemologies of the global South.
