Abstract

Este apartado corresponde a la Memoria del Trabajo de Graduación. El texto que se tradujo corresponde a la versión original The Trial of Life, de David Attenborough. En la Memoria se han abordado dos temas fundamentales: el primero corresponde a un glosario, y el segundo a un análisis teórico-práctico del uso de metáforas en texto como éste. Además, hay un primer capítulo de generalidades. En este se menciona los aspectos teóricos-prácticos que se deben tener en cuenta en el proceso de traducción. También se indica el género discursivo, intención del autor, campo de estudio, influencia cultural y tipo de lenguaje tanto del texto original como del traducido. En el capítulo ll que se refiere al glosario, a su vez, se ha dividido en dos partes; la primera trata de los nombres propios de los animales; la segunda corresponde al desarrollo, reproducción y comportamiento de los animales. Ambas partes vendrán a resolver las necesidades de terminologías y de uso que el traductor pueda tener cuando traduce textos de este tipo. El capítulo III se refiere a un análisis del uso de las metáforas que se da en un texto de esta clase. Se pretende realizar una investigación para justificar tal carga metafórica, se buscará el propósito de este uso y se justificará si estas metáforas son traducibles, intraducibles, si tienen equivalente en la segunda lengua o si se les puede adaptar en la lengua receptora.This section corresponds to the Report of the Graduation Work.
