Abstract

Partiendo del análisis y reflexión del quehacer Municipal en materia ambiental, se puede visualizar la necesidad de reorganizar y fortalecer la ejecución de acciones dirigidas a mejorar la calidad ambiental del territorio. Esto parte de la utilización de instrumentos ya institucionalizados y legal mente respaldados, como lo son los planes de gestión ambiental municipal (territoriales) y la incorporación de procesos de control a la ejecución de acciones, así como la aplicación de auditorías ambientales donde la participación ciudadana sea un agente transversal en ambos procesos.
